Product Details
Coffering is the grid of sunken panels in a vaulted ceiling. It was worked out as a way of taking weight out of a dome without weakening it, and each recess usually holds something. Here the grid is cut across the domed face of the hoop, with a stone set into every diamond.
Twelve millimetres across, on a hinge that clicks shut. Small enough for a second piercing and solid enough that it does not read as a starter hoop.
