The Length

Where should it sit?

Length changes how a pearl reads on the body. Our most-commissioned length is the Princess at 18 inches — versatile across necklines, legible in every photograph.

The Pearls

Which size carries your piece?

Pearl size defines a piece's presence — and its price. Our Heirloom standard is 8–9mm: the classical size for a freshwater strand that reads as consequential without overpowering. Anything above 10mm is sourced against your specification, lot by lot.

The Colour

Her complexion, her wardrobe.

White is the classical choice, and our most versatile. Pink-white warms fair complexions; peach reads best in autumn palettes. Black (dyed) is our quietest statement — modern, graphic, unexpected.

The Shape

Round, or something quieter?

Round is the grade most people expect from pearls — uniform, disciplined. Baroque and drop shapes read as couture: every pearl is singular, intentional. Semi-round splits the difference.

The Grade

How much luster? How little variation?

Every pearl grade has a different relationship with imperfection. We describe each honestly — surface variance, luster consistency, what you will and will not see on close inspection — so you can choose knowing exactly what arrives.

A note on honesty.   A pearl is a biological object. Commercial grading terms like AAA and AAAA are industry conventions, not guarantees. Our descriptions below are what each tier actually looks like in our hands — not what the industry says.

The Intent

Who is this for?

Tell us who will wear this piece and why. The story shapes how we source — a wedding piece is matched for photography, an heirloom for longevity across generations.

The Timeline

When do you need it?

Standard commissions take six to eight weeks from consultation to delivery. Priority timelines at four weeks are possible when our farm partners have suitable pearls in current lots. Harvest commissions let us source against an upcoming season.
